Bears 4 Kids Awards Grant To The Hampton Synagogue
Hebrew School To Encourage Community Service

Bears 4 Kids encourages school families to cheer up
hospitalized children and the elderly with gifts of therapeutic teddy bears

Under the Bears 4 Kids newly instituted Empowerment Program, starting in January 2009 a generous grant was awarded to the Hampton Synagogue Hebrew School to encourage students and their families to visit and distribute Teddy Bears to children that are ill and also to the elderly in its community. This Mitzvah Project will enable students of the Hampton Synagogue Hebrew School to put chesed and tzedakah into practice, making them feel good about themselves and the wonderful things they are doing for those in need.
