HISTORY MADE IN BEITAR AT GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY
FOR NEW EMERGENCY MEDICAL CENTER
Chairman Joe Sprung Graces Event November 23, 2003

Joseph B. Sprung, Founder of Bears 4 Kids and Chairman of the forthcoming state-of-the-art Beitar Illit Emergency Center, was honored at its groundbreaking ceremony on 11/23/03, which was attended by prominent community rabbis, members of Knesset, and Israel’s Chief Rabbi, Yona Metzger. Rabbi Metzger praised Joe Sprung and commended him for his devotion to the 15,000 children of Beitar and for his decision to chair this important project. “If the Emergency Medical Center will prevent a mother from being forced to travel on dangerous roads in inclement weather to provide emergency medical attention to her child, then for that alone we need to build this center.”, Mr. Sprung said.

Joe Sprung also visited the children at Schneider Children's Medical Center of Israel. He attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the hospital's new cancer wing.

Also visited were the Israel Cancer Research Fund on 11-24-03 and the Chaim Weitzman Institute.
